Takora is built around a simple promise: your data stays on your device. Every tool — encoding, hashing, PDF processing, image conversion — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Files you select are never uploaded to any server.
2. What we collect
We collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms that ask for your identity. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any file contents.
3. Cookies
Takora uses one cookie: a local preference that remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme. This cookie stays in your browser and is not readable by us or any third party. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Takora may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or visit www.aboutads.info.
5. Third-party services
If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may load third-party scripts. These scripts are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Takora does not share any data with these services because it does not hold any data.
6. Data retention
Because no data leaves your browser, there is nothing for us to retain, delete, or export. Any data you process with a tool exists only in the browser tab you are using.
7. Children's privacy
Takora does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, consistent with COPPA.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
